AstroConnexions: A beginning

I launched AstroConnexions, an iPad app, on the 23rd of August 2016, and it duly appeared in the Apple App Store available to all.
It was with mixed feelings as I realised that people might actually buy the thing I’d toiled (and enjoyed programming) on for so long. What had I forgotten? What had I missed? What had the beta testers missed?
Elation mixed with trepidation.
I was soon to find out. A stupid error! All bugs are stupid when it’s brought to your attention and it becomes clear how easy it would have been to test and fix. How could I have missed that!
I had to take AstroConnexions out of the app store. Yes, it was that bad. It was ok if you lived in the UK, USA, or Australia. But otherwise definitely not. I fixed the bug. Then it took over three days to go through the review that Apple put all apps through. Not a good wait for me or the customer who had an almost unusable app. Soon that was that!
Sales were surprisingly good in the first week for an app with no reviews and priced more than most astrology apps. I’d like to thank all those that took a chance on AstroConnexions. I hope that you all find it useful.
The initial impetus behind the app as to make something that I would like to use, with all the features that I would like. With an interface that made it easy. With a hope that others would like this too. And to provide future features that users wanted – garnered from their feedback.
Of course, getting feedback from users especially if they’re pleased with the app is especially rewarding.
Three weeks later (18th Sept 2016)
Most sales have been from abroad. The App Store and the iPad is truly international.
I have been most gratified and surprised to receive sales from:
