    Your first Natal Chart or Birth Chart

     

    What do you need for AC to calculate a Natal chart or Birth Chart?

    Often known as casting a chart.

    Create a new chart – video

    1. Date of Birth
    2. Time of Birth or if birth time is not known Noon should be used as time of birth
    3. Place of Birth

    In this example a person whose birth time is unknown and who was born in Tehran, Iran July 3rd, 1964 will be used. This person is fictitious.

    To start:

     

    Casting a new chart

    and then tap New

    New chart - tap New

    New chart – tap New

    Now type a name for the chart, usually the name of the person whose chart you are calculating.

     

    Next select the date of birth, and tap the Set button

     

    New chart - select Date of Birth

    New chart – select Date of Birth

    Next select 12.00 noon for (unknown) time of birth

     

    New chart - select Noon

    New chart – select Noon

    Next select the Country of Birth, Iran

    New chart - select Iran

    New chart – select Iran

     

    Next select Tehran as the city/town of birth

     

    New chart - select Tehran

    New chart – select Tehran

    Tap Save

     

    New chart - tap Save button

    New chart – tap Save button

    All Done

    Note: for the chart to be correct (for a Noon birth – local time) the Sun’s glyph should be displayed at the top of the chart near the MC (vertical arrow).

    The new chart has now been added to Your Charts list – indicated by the (1)

    Tap Your Charts and the chart list is shown. As more charts are added or imported this list will naturally grow. The associated chart record currently viewed has its background colour set to red.
