Coming Soon to AstroConnexions (AC) for the iPhone

AC iPhone version compatible with iOS 17, 18+, 26. Portrait orientation. 

Coming Soon (and the Knowledge Base) is regularly updated to reflect the progress of the new features/updates for AstroConnexions that are in development. And to announce when the next release of AC is available in the Apple App Store.

AC does not prompt for an App Store review. If you find the app useful please rate or review it in the App Store, or recommend it to other astrologers/students. This makes a big difference to me and the future of the app. Thank you. I always reply to a review, but be aware that Apple do not publish replies immediately. Replies are initially reviewed by Apple before publication to the app store, so expect a delay.

AC for iPhone version 1.39 is now available from the Apple App Store to buy. Please see below for details about ver 1.39.

If you have purchased AC through through the App Store or have used a promo code, you can upgrade/update to all new AC versions via Apple’s App store without any additional cost. AC will always be advert-free and intrusive-free with no in-app purchases. No subscriptions. Nada. Nothing.

The EU Digital Services Act as interpreted by Apple requires me to provide a phone number for the App Store which is displayed in the EU. This phone number is not an AstroConnexions help/support number. Support is only available via email – astroconnexionshelp@gmail.com

Please note that via this phone number:

1. I am unable to supply advice or assistance with buying AstroConnexions.
2. The AstroConnexions app can only be bought through the App Store.
3. The AstroConnexions app can only be upgraded through the App Store, or through Apple’s upgrade mechanism.

Installing the AC update

AC will be updated automatically on your device if you have automatic updates enabled; if not run the App Store app, tap your avatar in the top right-hand corner, then tap Purchases, find AstroConnexions in the list of purchased apps, and tap Update. Devices not updated to a recent iOS version show an immediately available Update button.

Considerations – Astrology Magazine

Considerations is an independent magazine written for all who are sensitive to the seasonal rhythms of the Earth and the apparent movement of the planets about her. It provides a forum in which there is an opportunity for new and old ideas to be presented, questioned and refined. The magazine was distributed three to four times each year. Commercial advertising is not accepted. Famous Astrologers have written for Considerations, incuding John Frawley, Ken Gillman, Bob Majrasnky, Prier Wintle, Ken Negus, Gerg Bogard, Barbara Koval, Robert Zoller, Bill Meridian, Sandy Saunders, Axel Harvey and many many others.There is a strong focus on traditional astrology but it is open to all forms of astrology. Made available for free online reading at http://www.freeconsiderations.com by the editor Ken Gillman (author of “One After Another”). The magazine is now defunct and thus relegated to legendary status.

Import Solar Fire Gold (Windows) and Astro Gold (iOS) chart files – .SFcht via iOS Files app. Dropbox not required.

The text may differ depending on the iPhone model and if zoom is set.

Note that this procedure differs from the Dropbox implementation – only one SFcht file (at a time) can be selected via the iOS Files app.

Individual charts cannot be selected (ticked).

A SFcht file can have many charts contained with it. See the screenshot above.

Primary Directions. Placidus semi-arc zodiacal, fixed stars as promissors.

Long fixed star names are truncated in the results table and in the Print/PDF view. They may also be truncated in the Promissor table depending on the iPhone model.

Fixed star selections ie ticks are not remembered after exiting the Primary Directions view.

The fixed stars shown in the Promissors table are taken from the selection of prominent fixed stars in the Fixed Star List.

To remove or add a fixed star in the Promissor table change the prominent selection in the Fixed Star List.

• Dissociate aspect recognition

A dissociate aspect is a traditional aspect (0, 60, 90, 120, 180) between planets/Asc/MC that are in signs that do not share an element, modality or polarity, yet they are within orb and in aspect to each other. This is also called an out-of-sign aspect.

The background of the out-of-sign aspect record is automatically coloured light red in the Aspect Table.

When the record is selected a darker red is shown.

Receptions table by traditional aspects aspecting traditional planets. By triplicity, terms, face, ruler (house), exaltation, and -ve receptions by fall, and detriment. Mutual receptions. Both applying and separating aspects are analysed.
