To invert colours on an iPad running iOS 11 or higher, follow these steps:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap General.
- Tap Accessibility.
- Tap Display Accommodations. Or if iOS 13 see above.
- Tap Invert Colors.
- At this screen, you have two options: Smart Invert and Classic Invert. … Smart Invert is best for AC
- Move the slider to on/green for the option you want to use.
Trouble-shooting: iOS 13 Dark Mode and Inverted Colours (Smart Invert)
To fix AC if it reverts back to non-inverted colours, switch Dark Mode on and off – see video below.
